This is a 1000 year old sanctuary and is said to have been assembled by the King Raja Chola. The structural style of the Cholas is tranquil obvious in this sanctuary. It is found close Railway Station. There are 16 engravings found in this sanctuary that go over to the years 1038 A.d., 1044 A.d., 1045 .A.d.
