Tirparappu Water Falls in kanyakumari District

The Kodayar makes its slide at Tirparappu and the water fall at this spot is something like 13km. from Pechiparai dam.

Content Box: The stream cot is rough and something like 300 feet long. The water tumbles from a tallness of almost 50 feet and the water streams for something like seven months in a year. The entire couch over the falls is one rough mass which reaches out up to a separation of about quarter of a kilometer upstream where the renowned Thirparappu weir has been built for supplying water to the paddy fields. On either side of the stream, on the left bank of the waterway in the middle of the water falls and the weir, there is a sanctuary devoted to Siva encased by solid fortress. The District Administration has as of late developed a swimming pool for kids here which is exceptionally prevalent among the youngsters.
